ah hah moment.

You know when something so wonderful happens to you -  you instantly become speechless.    You think - NO WAY is something AMAZING is happening to you and all of a sudden..... "ah hah!"?   About a month ago I dropped off my first shipment of re-finished furniture at Eco Chic Boutique, in Fargo N.D.  and discovered the "ah hah" moment.

All ready to go in my garage.

Kind of sad I know,  but I have to admit,  it was a little hard to let them go....   I so badly hope that people love these pieces as much as I loved making them.

Products in store.

It's been a whirlwind since, and I can't even being to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for all their support.   This weekend I have my first official show. Fargo's first annual Junk Market. If you are around town, stop on by! Forcast calls for sunny skies all day, so bring your ladies and make a day out of it, would LOVE to see you!

So She Did It Anyways....

We all know that feeling.  Those little sparks of magic you feel in within your soul towards a profession, someone or something.   My little sparks have been brewing a fire within and I am finally listening to myself with a giant LEAP of faith.   So here I am.  Out in the open.  Like it or not.   I have been fighting this with all the logical reasons, but you know what:  I'm doing it anyway.

I am a junk enthusiast.  Furniture re-designer.   I spend my Saturdays, lunch breaks and evenings sifting through thrift stores for the beautiful piece that someone else was crazy enough to get rid of.   My sparks start to go one million miles an hour when I find a piece where I can see the potential.

So welcome to my blog where I will learn as I go and share my tips and tricks of furniture re-finishing.  Sit back, relax and enjoy as I attempt to share my passion with you.  If anything, I hope my leap of fatih will encourage you or someone you know to drop those fears and do it anyways.   Thanks for stopping and looking forward to this adventure!
